In this case, which iPhone should I switch to or should I switch to?

Hello, I have a question.
 I'm working as a student intern, 
and my current phone is broken,
 so I want to switch to an iPhone. I've settled on the 16e model,
 but I need to work for six months without spending any money
 (unfortunately, such are the conditions in Türkiye).
 I'm asking this in the hope that you can give me a clear answer.

 Is it worth it? 
(I've never used or seen an iPhone before,
 but I keep up with technological developments.)

Sorry, but I do not believe that any store will give you a new iPhone 16e for free.

In addition, if you are not a Turkish citizen, but someone from another country who has permission to live in Turkey for six months, I think that you might be required to register your mobile phone and pay the Turkish authorities a hefty registration fee.
