after downloading tahoe 26.1 from sequoia on mac m4 had no internet then slowly came back the following day
now the browsing and logf in is very slow can this be corrected ?

It shouldn't be slow. If you are using any third-party VPN, antivirus, or firewall software, uninstall them.
Otherwise…
Install EtreCheck and post the report.
Use the Additional Text icon to paste in the report.
As I mentioned, post an EtreCHeck report. It may show any issues. Regarding Malwarebytes, it's really unnecessary but if you are going to keep it, just disable the real time scanning. Just run it manually.
Hi tks for helping I do not have VPN so ok with it I turned off firewall it may have helped on some site but bot on others still a bit slow not sure what to do may be call support ?
