CSV not automatically importing into columns in Excel

Just got a new 15" Air M4. Updated to OS to Tahoe 26.1. My old Air was a 13" M2 also running Tahoe. The problem I need help solving is to get Microsoft Excel to import comma-delimited csv files automatically into columns. Every solution I find online speaks about language and region, but there is no longer a setting there to specify text delimiters. Works perfectly on my M2 but can't get it to work on the M4, despite comparing all settings I can't find.

I suspect that this setting used to be available when I set up my M2 but now it is embedded in some other setting on the M4

I do daily analysis of large CSV files in Excel, and going through the hack of importing every time is super frustrating. Help much appreciated
