Cannot add payment method to iTunes Store
I cannot add a payment method and it says “this payment method can’t be used with the itunes store”.
iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26
Your card was rejected before Apple even attempted a charge, because:
✔ The card’s issuing country does NOT match your Apple ID’s App Store region
✔ OR your bank blocks the $0 verification test
✔ OR Apple’s merchant gateway marks the card as incompatible for digital goods
This is not an iPhone bug.
It means the card does not meet Apple’s regional rules.
