Accessibility Keyboard Glitch

Mac Studio M1, 64gb, OS Tahoe 26.1

Hi

Something very weird has happened to the accessibility keyboard since the update. I use it a lot, as in all the time, for everything, so this is a big deal for me.

Basically it changes size randomly. I will try to define that. Sometimes it changes size after I click one of the suggestions in the top line, sometimes when I just click one of the letters, and once or twice when I have clicked something else on the screen. Additionally, even though I have made my own custom panel which includes a suggestions toolbar above the regular top line of keys, the whole suggestion toolbar often disappears completely, and then comes back when I start typing - fine, I can see how that is deliberate behaviour, but when the toolbar appears it makes the keyboard jump position on my screen, and typing quickly means I hit a different key.

All of this is immensely frustrating, and it's slowing down my work.

Anyone else had this problem?

It took me a long time to perfect this keyboard, and I don't really want to go through that again.

PS. Voice dictation is still awful, and I hate the AI prediction, and the way it prioritises and transposes words from my contacts, instead of just typing what I say
