Why does Mac Mini M4 Pro has Bluetooth Issue?

Mac Mini M4 Pro Bluetooth Issue

I immediately noticed the issue on my first use. However, I had Beats Fit Pro headphones at the time, and the problem was almost nonexistent. But then, I started getting high-pitched feedback on my Beats every now and then, to the point where one of the earbuds stopped working.

Now, I use a Sony headset and an external speaker, and God help me, the Mac Mini is such a poor performer. Both the headset and the speaker have constant micro-glitches when using Bluetooth, and it’s frustratingly annoying.

I searched for solutions and, according to them, I moved my router far away from my desk, even outside the room. I also turned off my Mac Mini’s Wi-Fi. I have only two USB connections to my Mac Mini that are absolutely necessary, and yet, whenever I watch YouTube videos or just local videos, the sound starts to have micro-jitters. Apple’s solution to this is to move the router away, unplug the external connection to the devices. Which is, in my opinion, shameful because for such an expensive device, it should be able to handle issues like this.

My secondary laptop is an ASUS Helios, and none of these issues are ever faced on that device.

The wireless antenna is under the bottom cover of the Mac mini, which makes the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signal weak and susceptible to interference from poorly shielded USB cables and other devices.

Some work arounds include:

Replacing poorly shielded USB cables and moving USB devices away from the Mac mini.

Place the Mac mini on it side with the bottom facing toward your Router and Bluetooth devices.

Troubleshooting Mac Bluetooth:

A. About "Reset the Bluetooth Module":

See my User Tip: Use "Reset the Bluetooth module" to Fix Constant Bluetooth Disconnections - User Tip. Looking at my first comment on it, recommended to Apple that they bring this option back. They canned Reset the Bluetooth Module in Monterey's release. There is a command in Terminal for this, that is mentioned

in my for reply to User Tip:

Use this Command:

sudo pkill bluetoothd

B. Boot in Safe Mode:

Go Here: Start Ip your Mac in Safe Mode - Apple Support. In Safe ModeLogin Items do not run at login, certain preferences are set aside, and damaged system files are then reset. So, once booted in to Safe Mode, wait for 30 seconds, and then boot up normally, attempting another sync.

C. Try a New Admin User:

What happens when you create a new administrator user, and log int it? Do you still get this error? If not, then it is likely an error with the current user. If so, then it is likely an error with your macOS.

as a last resort...

D. Reinstall the macOS:

Go Here: How to Reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery - Apple Support

Important: First, Back Up your Mac:

Create a Time Machine backup of your Mac, so that you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the reinstall. Take this as a learning experience, knowing to always create a backup of your Mac, prior to making any major changes to it (i.e. update installation)

As for Networking:

A. Use a Range Extender:

How far away is the computer from the router? A range extender would

boost/amplify the signal to reach a farther distance.

B. Upgrading your Router:

Some routers are not intended for streaming, which might be what you are trying to perform. So, look up the Model

Number, and verify that it is intended

with streaming.
