iPad Air 5th Gen screen illuminates without picture or display after battery replacement

I replaced the battery on my ipad air 5th and the installation went smoothly. I closed it up and tested it to and it seemed to work perfect. by the end of the night the screen would only illuminate without picture and I could still hear sound from the text messages coming in, just no display or picture. I'm not sure what to do at this point and hope im not doomed.

Self-repair of an iPad is rarely straightforward - and risks internal damage to delicate components. Be aware that attempted repair using third-party components (a) invalidates and remaining warranty, and (b) forfeits future hardware support from Apple or Apple Authorised Service Providers (AASPs). Diagnostic tests will detect presence of non-OEM components - at which point service will be declined.

With that said, as you are clearly comfortable with both the risk and consequences of self repair, your available options are limited. You can either open the iPad and review the repair that you have attempted, in particular checking that internal flex connectors have been properly re-seated - or find a third-party repair shop to complete the repair for you.
