How to sync audio with specific clips on a timeline in video editing?

I have a sequence on a timeline, and I should have synced audio before ... but I didn't. I edited it with the camera mic. Is there a best way (an easiest way) to sync the interview audio with specific clips on the timeline? Or at least an easy way to locate the specific section on the sync'ed clip to replace on the timeline?

To sync external interview audio with an already-edited timeline, the easiest method is to create a synced master clip using waveform sync (Synchronize Clips / Merge Clips), then replace the camera-audio clips in your timeline with the synced versions. Alternatives include syncing inside a compound clip, manual waveform alignment, or using automated tools like PluralEyes. This avoids re-editing and keeps your timeline intact.

Make a selection in a Timeline, Shift-F will take you to the master clip in the Browser, with that section selected as a range.

But to the main point, in the Browser, select the clips you need to sync and make either a Multicam, or what it sounds like in your case, a Synchronized Clip. The first is for use with parallel camera shoots, where multiple cameras, usually pointing at the same subject, are running at the same time. So you can cut between angles in the edit. The second is when you have a clips that were shot in series, to sync to a main audio clip.

But you can't select from the Timeline itself to sync. Wish you could.

I have already done step one ... and I have the synced master clip. But what is the easiest way to replace the camera-audio clips in my timeline? I am trying to figure out the easiest way to locate the clip on the 25 minute synced clip. I can Shift F to find the exact place on the original ... but I can't seem to figure out the way to identify the spot on the synced clip. I have 102 clips to replace .. so mea culpa for not syncing first.
