Exporting notes & quotes (highlights) from Apple Books. Workarounds?

Anybody got a better solution to exporting quotes and notes (highlights) from Apple Books? I've used Klib to Evernote but it glitches and gives me some Error Code #11.

MacBook Air (M2, 2023)

And seriously, Apple. Why did you disable this key feature in the first place? Amazon can do it with Kindle, so it's not legal...
