Future Apple Watch-iPad Pairing

Is it known if an Apple Watch will ever be able to pair with an iPad in the same way as it does with the iPhone. I am considering buying a new iPad, but this is the main reason I would do so. If I could get an answer on this (preferably from an Apple member) that would be very helpful.

  1. This is a user to user forum. There are no Apple reps or members here. Only other users like yourself.
  2. Apple has not made any mention of Apple Watch compatibility coming to the iPad.
  3. You can tell Apple you want that through their feedback website, and if enough people do, they may choose to add it. click here ➜ Feedback - iPad - Apple
