Apple Studio Display dims on its own ! (solution see below)

To restore the brightness, I pressed the F2 key, which brightens it up for a moment, but after a short while, the screen dims again to the minimum setting. It keeps coming and going and is driving me crazy!

Just before this happened, I cleaned my external keyboard (using a slightly damp cloth) and some of the keys stopped working properly or typed two or three letters instead of one.

REASON for the decrease in brightness: the keyboard is interfering with a bad connection (F1 key)

SOLUTION: let the keyboard dry thoroughly / replace the F1 key or the external keyboard.
