Apple gift card I purchased will NOT be honored.

I bought myself an Apple gift card using my iPhone and I used my PayPal acct to buy an $80 card. Since I used my phone to purchase I sent it to my Gmail acct not realizing that you can’t use acct that’s not connected to Apple acct. well I called Apple support and as I was speaking to rep I was told that they can see that someone was trying to take my credit I just bought the rep told me she was able to prevent it this was on 11-14-25 do I ask if at all possible if they can get the card I added to my Gmail account and send to my yahoo account because I purchased an Apple Card using my PayPal now just I’ve done to an Apple representative just about everyday since cause they requested more info I sent twice everything I had. Prof showing both acct are mine provided screenshots of all receipts and everything I had that had to do with this purchase. I just found out yesterday that they are NOT going to refund me. What can I do I’m out $80 it sucks. Then one rep says yes they are then another says no they are not. Any suggestions???
