How to play sound on lost AirPods Pro 2 when 'attempting to connect'?

Hello! I recently lost my right earbud from my AirPods (pro 2) and ive had a look but I can’t seem to find it, I lost it at a school on the outskirts (just outside of the school in front of admin) but whenever I try playing sound to find it, it doesn’t play and just says “attempting to connect” and it never does. Or if I try to use the “nearby discovery” it fails to connect. Even if I ask for directions it doesn’t show me the precise location, just near where I last dropped it. Does anyone know what I can do? And what I can do to make it play noise because it has worked several times before.

For reference here is the basic concept of what I’m saying on how it doesn’t show the precise location because it tells me that it’s over in the grass when I didn’t even step foot in the area:

Thank you for the screenshot,

AirPods and FindMy:

You AirPods are paired to a device that itself has FindMy enabled. AirPods cannot be seen by themselves. This is because AirPods are not assigned their own IP Addresses. So, even on the other side of the continent with the pairs device, that’s where they will show up in Find My. The location is based of of an IP Addresses, and is there for not always spot on.

Hearing Out of One AirPod:

You can’t. You need both AirPods in order these to work. And, on top of that they need to be of the same Serial Number.
