My AirPods have an incredibly loud notification volume.

I’ve searched for a solution but haven’t found any. Whenever I wear my AirPods Pro, any text message triggers an extremely loud notification sound. I’m at a loss as to how to reduce the volume. The volume control on my phone only lowers other sounds, like music or phone calls. Even when the volume is set to the lowest level, I still get blasted with a super loud notification. There must be a way to adjust the notification volume. This is a setting that should definitely be available and shouldn’t have been overlooked by Apple.

I tried this solution but it didn’t work:

• Connect your AirPods to your iPhone
• Go to Settings and select them under your Apple ID
• Scroll down to "Accessibility" and select it
• At the bottom of this page you will find "Tone Volume"
• Adjust the tone volume according to your desired noise level

That seems to only work for the AirPods notifications, like transparency and noise cancellation. The notifications from texts, voicemail, and other things are still exceptionally loud. I just don’t understand how Apple doesn’t give you the option to turn those down.
