How do you Search for content without an extra charge on Apple TV+ ?

Will Apple be updating the Apple TV+ App for Fire TV boxes?

The stand alone Apple TV+ App on the Amazon fire box (version 1 I think, with the most upto date software it can accept) will open but won't play content, but oddly if we subscribed via Amazon Prime we could see & play Apple TV+ content through Amazon Prime.

If content can play through the Amazon Prime then there's obviously nothing wrong with the Toshiba TV (which has the latest software update kindly posted to us on usb stick by Toshiba) or Amazon Fire box hardware therefore there seems no practicle reason not to update the Apple TV+ App.

We cancelled the ATV+ subscription as we couldn't find any films without extra charges, also cancelled Amazon Prime so have to wire a Laptop to the tv to view ATV+.

We might resubscribe if we can be assured we can find & watch content without paying extra charges. As well as be able to watch easily through the TV without having to go through Amazon Prime or wire the MacBook to the TV to play it, which is obviously not convenient to control.
