Adding space at beginning of tracks
I want to start my track after 2 seconds of silence. I also want to have the bars start at 1 after 2 seconds. Can I do that in GarageBand for Mac?

Yes — you can add 2 seconds of silence and have bar 1 start after that in GarageBand:
✔ For the silence
Move the region so the track starts at 2 seconds exactly.
✔ To shift bar numbers
Use:
- Start track at bar 3
- or
- Use Set Beat at Playhead after enabling advanced features
GarageBand will then treat your audio’s start as “bar 1.”
