Apple Mail handwriting node crashes when using shortcut

Hi Apple,

I am using Sequoia 15.7.1 and the handwriting node of Apple Mail starts crashing. This happens when I use the shortcut Shift+Control+Space Bar to bring up the handwriting node. It used to work but now crashes the Mail program. Please fix this bug. Thanks.
