Apps won't download on new iPhone

Perform a Force Restart

• Press and quickly release Volume Up
• Press and quickly release Volume Down
• Press and HOLD side button until Apple Logo appears. This may take up to 15 seconds while holding the side button and you ignore anything else on the screen until you see the Apple Logo. If you do not see it, try again as it may take a couple of attempts to get the speed and sequence of the key presses correct.

If there are a lot of apps to download from the backup, it will take time. Each one needs to download from the App Store.
