iPhone Lightning port charges, no audio accessories

Hello, I need help with my iPhone . The Lightning port charges normally, but it fails to recognize any audio accessories, including my Lightning earphones. I have confirmed the earphones work perfectly on another device. I have also performed all standard software troubleshooting, including a force restart, resetting all settings, and checking for debris in the port

Typically, when the iPhone still charges but refuses to recognize digital Lightning audio, it usually points to a problem with the accessory data lines inside the port. Those pins handle audio and MFi handshake separately from power, so it’s very possible for charging to work while everything else fails.

Using a bright light, inspect the port again—this time looking for any of the center pins to see if they look darker or misaligned, that’s a sign of physical damage rather than debris.

If any damage is found, then you basically have two options: 1) Have the phone repaired (not recommended,) or 2) Getting a new phone.
