Smart Keyboard Folio Globe key only shows language keyboards

since upgrading to iOS 26.1 the GLOBE key on my Smart Keyboard Folio no longer scrolls through ALL the installed keyboards : it only shows the language ones. I can turn on “Press GLOBE for EMOJI” in Hardware keyboard, but that removes the option to scroll through languages with it.

The Globe key works fine without the physical Keyboard attached.

CTRL + SPACEBAR also only shows the language ones.

iPad Pro 11 inch 3rd Gen.

any pointers appreciated

What other keyboards besides "language" and "emoji" are you unable to see?

So there’s no way to return to the previous behaviour ? Prior to ios26 the GLOBE key would scroll through all installed keyboards, and still does when I’m not using the APPLE keyboard folio, or another external keyboard.

CTRL+SPACE also doesn’t show the Emoji keyboard.

For the Emoji keyboard, you need to turn on “Press GLOBE for EMOJI” in Hardware keyboard settings, and use Control Space to access language keyboards instead of Globe.
