Displays pulldown menu disappears in macOS Tahoe 26.1

Apple has broken MacOS Displays again in 26.1. This isn't a question; just an observation. In Tahoe 26.0, System Settings/Displays was changed, although Apple did not announce this change. Previously, there was a dropdown menu on the upper right where you could select another device. In 26.0, they moved that to the bottom right, next to Arrange. However, in 26.1, when I open Displays, I generally do not see the pulldown menu. However, if I minimize Displays and then restore it, the pulldown menu reappears. So, the bug isn't really serious, only annoying. I have reported this both to Apple feedback and in Feedback Assistant, where I posted two screenshots showing the problem. I'm posting here to inform others and to see if other people see the same problem. Who knows? Apple may even fix it, though I'm not holding my breath.
