Mac App Store not reliably showing available app updates
This is a problem I've been encountering for YEARS, and every time I hope it will be resolved.
It often happens that the official Mac app store cannot find updates for installed apps. A week ago, it reported 3 updates out of 5 actual ones (according to Pearcleaner), and I didn't check every single app. Today, it doesn't report any at all.
The strange thing is that if I manually go to each app's page, the update is detected but still does not appear on the updates page until I reload that page.
Sometimes, if I don't do anything, it notifies me of an update after a week or two (IF it notifies me).
I've already read: If you can't download or update apps on your Mac - Apple Support. I have already tried the solutions suggested by Apple, but I repeat that this is a problem I have been encountering for years.
Yes, i can click cmd+R to refresh the update page, but it doesn't always find all the updates, so it's still unreliable.
Is there a solution? Why does this problem occur?
(I am currently using MacOS 26.1 with MacBook Pro M4 Pro but is irrelevant.
Here I also made a screenshot and a video that may help clarify what happens: https://youtu.be/5Dqx47nsQBc
