Sorry to hear it, I wonder if you could see that feature under "Add a recipient"? The functionality is available on the Zelle and Goldman Sachs sides, so it is in fact supported, but unfortunately banks don't all implement Zelle in the the same way. It works on TD for example (I initiated a transfer last night after hours and it arrived in Apple Savings this morning).
Here's the guidance I was hoping to share:
-- You CANNOT zelle to email or phone number
-- You CAN zelle to your Apple Savings Routing/Account Numbers**
**If your specific bank supports the "by Account Number" option in their zelle configuration.

That seems to be a big IF and the reason why those that had trouble sending to the Apple Savings Account were correctly told that it is not supported. It also does not help that Zelle does not list Goldman Sachs as a bank that can be added to their own account for any of those questions about sending money.
Anyways you experience may help others, especially if they also have TD.
Agreed. Zelle by Acct#/Rtg# is not available at all banks, but it's clearly supported by Apple(Goldman S.) and Zelle, so wanted to put it out there for people who are looking for the answer (like I was).
I just checked a bunch of finance sites I'm involved with and found it's a 50/50 split: Yes: 3, No: 3. I'm holding back from listing the specific institutions because hackers exist.

I, for one, cannot do that from my bank.
Can we please fix the inaccurate community response about using zelle with Apple Savings?
