Calendar search feature isn't working on iPhone 16 Plus

The calendar search feature on my iPhone 16 plus isn’t working. This is the 4th or 5th time this has happened but none of the suggested fixes are working this time. I’ve tried turning off the search feature, restarting my phone and turning the feature back on but it’s not working. I use this daily and I am frustrated by this ongoing issue. I’m running the most current software update, iOS 26.1. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thank you!
