Changing country for my apple ID with issues for installing a new payment method

Hi,

I never managed to transfer my old apple account from my previous country of residence (the UK) to to my current country of residence (Switzerland). I did follow every step, I have no credit, no subscription or pre-order. But when I want to add a new payment It seems like I cannot do so. My old uk bank card to which the account is linked isn't anymore in use (I closed the account) but I cannot add a swiss bank card, it does ask me to add a uk bank card with a uk billing address which I can't as I am no longer living there and have no uk bank account. Is there anything to do or should I just create a new ID apple account?

If it is asking for a UK card then it means your account is also set to the UK. So it seems to me you are not correctly changing your country settings, otherwise it would be perfectly happy seeing a Swiss payment method and would fussing if you were entering a UK method.
