Podcast chapter art not refreshing under iOS26

Hi everyone!

Since updating to iOS 26 (iPhone 17), I've noticed that the chapter images no longer refresh when playing podcasts and changing chapters. When I actually open the app, everything is fine, and the correct images are displayed. But on the lock screen and especially within CarPlay, only the image that was active when I started the podcast is shown – and nothing refreshes while the podcast is playing.

Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone know a workaround? I find it awful; it's like going back to podcasting in 2015. iOS 26.1 also didn't fix it. :(
