Re: No audio from websites on MacBook Air : How can I configure my Macbook Air so that I can hear Facebook and other audio websites using my AirPods Pro?

See three settings to check below:

Wondering which MacOS version is iinstalled on your MacBook Pro.

Eg: For MacOS 26:

__ (Else:for earlier MacOS versions: if needed for accuracy : change iOS version at top of the linked article)

(1) Check you have enough volume input / output & audio is not muted)

Apple menu > System Settings > Sound > "Output" and "Input" and "Balance" sliders

(ie: ... usually set the sliders somewhere near the middle ... fine-tune to suit)

More info if needed: Change Sound settings on Mac - Apple Support

__

(2) You can: Allow use of the microphone and audio input - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"To authorise an app or a website to use your microphone and audio input devices, click Allow in the dialog.

If you don’t want to authorise the use of your microphone and audio input devices, click Don’t Allow."

"If you allow third-party apps or websites to use your microphone and audio input devices, any information they collect is governed by their terms and privacy policies. It’s recommended that you learn about the privacy practices of those parties.

You can review and change which apps and websites can use your microphone and audio input devices in Privacy & Security settings.

Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click Privacy & Security  in the sidebar, then click Microphone. (You may need to scroll down.)"
