Disk Utility does NOT show the Base System
But in Recovery Mode Disk Utility DOES show the Recovery System
I'd appreciate any advise.
BTW, the machine is running fine
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.7
It's not supposed to when booted from the internal drive; the base system will only appear when it's in use.

In use, how is that?
Sometime back it was always visible and on the other mac it is also visible
strange enough in recovery mode it is seen. I did all the tests and there is no error neither in software as with the drive.
I am lost
still the machine is working fine so there is not much to worry about
Basically, when the system is booted from it. The computer doesn't depend on it for normal operations.
