How did you reach out to Goldman Sachs? Did you call them? They’ll send a form and need a certified copy of the death certificate.

I don't know about the Goldman Sachs end of things but you may be able to resolve issues better once you have access to the account. For your own peace of mind in the future you should create and keep authentication details of your accounts so your family doesn’t have to be burdened by issues like this. As has been pointed the executor of your father’s estate will be able to access your father’s Apple Account and his Apple Card.
