How to import iCloud contacts into Outlook on a PC

I'm trying to import my iCloud contacts into Outlook on my new PC. Now it says I need to have 'classic Outlook' not new Outlook so I'm in process of download. I can see and select all my iCloud contacts but don't know what to do with them. Do I save the file somewhere and pick up from the Outlook end? So frustrating. TY
