Apple Music on Windows 11: Local library not appearing. Trying to get new windows 11 computer with APPLE MUSIC to connect to my local network based itunes media library.

I have used Itunes on my old win 10 computer for several years. I use it to sync music and backup my iphone 17 to my computer. The media library is on a local network drive. (F:\Music\iTunes 1\iTunes Media) It works fine on my old computer with iTunes.

On my brand new HP Omnibook I have installed APPLE MUSIC. Hopefully to be able to add and sync my network based itunes media library.

I have used the settings to point to the network based media library (F:\Music\iTunes 1\iTunes Media) but nothing shows up in SONGS, ALBUMS, etc. If I navigate out to the songs via file explorer and play the song, it plays through APPLE MUSIC fine. From that point on, it shows as a song in APPLE MUSIC. I can't do this with all of my thousands of songs.

It does not show any of my playlists either.

I do not have any (well maybe 3) songs that are cloud based, but I never use my itunes logged in to apple for anything else. So I don't see a need to log in for APPLE MUSIC to work off of a local network drive.

Thank you.
