No sound when viewing movies using home sharing - iTunes for windows

After purchasing, downloaded movie to PC. Played fine.
When I try to view it on tv-connected AppleTV box with home sharing, the audio does not work. This has happened to a handful of movies. I have tried rebooting and redownloading the movies and the sound does not work on the AppleTV box. Again the sound is fine on the PC.
New issue - a movie that played fine on the PC AND on the home sharing AppleTV box, all of a sudden has no sound on the AppleTV box.

Any ideas?

Can you determine the audio codec(s) in the media files that refuse to give sound on playback?

Do they have AAC or AC3 audio? Preferably not both (as likely only one will then be available).

Do they have stereo sound or surround sound?

Here is the results using the link you provided for one of the movies:

It looks like this (along with the others) has both AAC and AC-3

And I think they are just stereo sound.

Sorry not sure what to make of the results.
