Apple TV app not working on Sony TV after troubleshooting

Apple TV stopped working on my Sony TV. I went through all the steps a rep talked me through on phone. Still not working. And they offer free movie credits?

I can't even get the app to work! And the help is circular. And no email.

No help from Apple.

Yes, I have the same problem. Of course it doesnt work. And support just told me that it was my TV's fault even though the Apple app is the only one that doesn't work. So of course I will be unable to watch the MLS playoffs tomorrow even though MLS is literally the only reason I even bother to use their terrible app. Thanks Apple.
