Ive read through at least 20 forums and tried everything but it still wont work on my computer

I'm not sure, but you need to may go into your Mac's System. Settings, and disable the ability for your Mac to act as an AirPlay Receiver.

i turned it off on my mac and it still shows the same error message
my mac wont let me use the iphone mirroring app. i can airplay just fine but the moment i want to use the app it shows an error
