macbook won’t connect even if using wifi

My Macbook stopped working with wifi, even when connected to wifi. As in, google searches won’t work, along with other apps. On google, it says that there isn’t a problem with wifi but I’ve tried the suggestions it gave. It only seems to connect and work under my school’s wifi and mobile data. Sometimes after a long time of not using it, it’ll work for a few minutes before stopping and works for maybe one or two apps that do require wifi connection. I’ve tried resetting, updating, and forgetting the wifi.
