I have a model A1625 4K AppleTV. I connected it via Ethernet and ran a speedtest, and getting 90MB down. Same day, same device getting 180MB down via Wi-Fi. Connected my laptop via the same Ethernet cable and wall jack -!: getting 950MB down (I have Spectrum gig service.) I’ve run this test on multiple days, similar results. Any idea why the Ethernet is so slow on this device?
The A1625 model has a 100Base-T ethernet port, so getting 90 Mbps in the real world is about what is expected.
Which is plenty, as high bitrate streams (4K Dolby Vision) are served with about 25 Mbps.
