Gmail will not sync on MacBook
I recently changed my Gmail password on a Remote Desktop to access Gmail. Now Gmail will not sync on my MacBook but I still receive it on my iPhone13

It sounds like your Mac’s Mail app (or Internet Accounts system) still has your old Gmail credentials cached, so it’s unable to authenticate with Google’s servers after the password change. Since your iPhone is syncing fine, that confirms your new credentials are correct—so the issue is isolated to your MacBook. The fix usually involves re-authenticating your Gmail account through macOS’s Internet Accounts pane.
To do so:
- On your Mac, open System Preferences › Internet Accounts.
- Select your Google account and click Details or Edit.
- If prompted, sign in again with your new Gmail password and allow access for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. If you don’t see a re-login option, remove the account entirely, restart your Mac, and then add it back by choosing Add Account › Google.
- Open the Mail app afterward and verify your messages start syncing again.
