Burn mark under glass on new iPad Pro

My new 4 day old iPad Pro M5 I've noticed what looks like a round burn mark under the GLASS bottom left it about 1/2" round, could it be a solder joint point heating up and touching the glass, should I be worried about it.

trying to get in touch with Apple to tell them is like pulling teeth through a sieve

You would be well advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.

Alternatively and perhaps easier, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-support/id1130498044

You might also visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to assess your iPad. Here you will be in the best possible place to explore your available options:

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

If your iPad was purchased directly from Apple, in most countries/regions you have 14-days within which to unconditionally return the item for exchange of refund. If your new iPad is confirmed to have a fault, you would be well advised to exchange the iPad for a new replacement while you have the opportunity to do so.

Upon expiry of 14-days, Apple's warranty reserves the right to exchange the iPad for a reconditioned item of the same model and specification - although consumer rights legislation may affect the potential remedies available to you.
