My ipad cannot work well after protective shell is uncovered. It is unable to react when touching

As title, my iPad has no response when I open the protective shell sometimes, including normal touching and reaction or the screen remaining black. I did some test, such as change of shell, and prevention of closing shell cover. The latter did help, while the former makes no effort. So I consider my iPad has some issues about magnets or somewhere. BTW, it can be switched on mandatorily, but I wonder the better solution. Thanks.

Many iPad cases/covers will include a magnet within the construction of the cover - carefully positioned to trigger the iPad sensor that controls automatic iPad locking.

Fitted cases from reputable manufacturers, designed explicitly for your iPad model, will have been carefully designed to correctly operate the auto-lock function. By contrast, some third-party and unbranded cases are known to cause issues - not only with the auto-lock function, but can also seriously impair the built-in fluxgate compass.
