Apple TV still changing airplay YouTube videos to a random language

I’ve seen loads of threads about this. And all of them have been closed without a real answer. I beg the Apple support team to not close this thread until this problem has been fully de-bugged.

I’ve had this issue on and off for about two years now. Often when I try to AirPlay a YouTube video from my MacBook Air M2 to my Apple TV Gen 4 (fairly modern & recently OS updated), after a few seconds of playing through the Apple TV, the audio language of the video suddenly switches to an Eastern European dubbed language.

Tried solutions:

-When clicking on the audio option on the video via the Apple TV, the selected and only language is listed as “ unknown “, it should have the option for “original audio”

-When viewing captions options, it is listed as English or none (neither option changes anything).

-Both region settings and language settings on the Apple TV and my MacBook are all listed as English, UK. Changing these temporarily does nothing either.

-Restarting both devices does not result in any change either.

The one thing I will note is that when connecting my iPhone to my Apple TV, it does not experience the same language issue.

Please do inform me if a solution has been found, but as requested, please do not close this thread until this issue has been debugged.
