panic button playing random note
I’m not sure if this is something that happened when I just got the upgrade for Omnisphere or if it’s totally unrelated. I have two quirky things happening. When I switch from patch to patch, it will fire a random note for just a split second. It’s usually on the fader for either a pad or strings which are both populated with Omni. Now today when I set up my panic button, it plays an F sharp note for a split second but still works as a panic button. Again, it’s a very quick split second note. It goes away immediately. I checked my mapping and it seems I have it mapped correctly. I am not good at this midi stuff so for me this is baffling. If there are any experts out there that could lead me in the right direction that would be great. To get away from it now and patch change, I make sure I save the patch with all the faders pulled down so that you can’t hear it. In doing that, you don’t see any jump on the green volume scale of the fader when I change from patch to patch. Again just really weird in for somebody my age very baffling.
