iTunes started pausing on laptop while in Europe

Traveling to Europe with my laptop to play my iTunes music the songs in all of my playlists would pause and upon returning home this issue still occurs? How to correct this - have already checked for updates, rebooted the laptop and the pausing still continues - suggestions please!
