GarageBand resets the volume of IAA instruments automatically - even with automation disabled.

Hi all.

I have a problem with GarageBand on iPad. Basically it resets the volume of any IAA instrument. For instance, I have purchased iWavestation which is only IAA, and GB keeps resetting the volume each time I try to play or record that instrument.

The automation is turned off, and also any effect or whatsoever. No midi signals are sent - as far as I know. The volume of iWavestation is set to max.

Please note that the above video refers to the previous GB version. I have now deinstalled GB from the iPad, and loaded the new version 2.3.18. I have also deinstalled iWavestation, and re-installed it after a reboot of the iPad.

With the new version 2.3.18 the problem is even worse, since it changes the volume just by going from the main track wiew to the record view, and the other way around as well.

Has someone experienced the same issue ? What can I do to solve this annoying problem ?

The installed iPadOS-Version is 26.0.1, iPad 9. Generation.
