Unintentional Subscription Renewal Refund Request

Hello Apple Support,


I tried to start a 7-day free trial for the [Praktika] app, after I had previously canceled my subscription. However, when I tapped “Start 7-day free trial” and confirmed with Face ID, I was immediately charged instead of getting the free trial.


This seems to be an app error, as I only selected the free trial option and did not intend to make a payment.


I kindly ask Apple to review this issue and help me get a refund for this unintended charge.

If you got an email receipt and there's a 'Report a Problem' link in it, use that; otherwise, click here and ask the iTunes Store staff for a refund.


The people on these boards are mostly other customers, not Apple Support, and can't give one.

And just for future reference, free trial can only be used once. You will always see promos for a free trial if you are not signed into the app. receive an email, or visit a website because there is no way to verify your purchase history to know if you had previously used a free trial. The way you know if you had used a free trial before and are going to be charged immediately is when viewing the Authorization Screen that requires you to double click the side button. There will be no Free Trial listed there and only the Subscription showing the start date being today with the amount you will be charged.
