Refund Request – Charged Instead of Free Trial (App Error)

Hello Apple Support,

I’m worried that my previous refund request might not be approved because I accidentally selected the option “I renewed by mistake.”

However, this situation actually happened due to an app error. I selected “Start 7-day free trial,” but after confirming with Face ID, I was charged immediately instead of receiving the free trial period.

After that, I removed my ShopeePay payment method and switched to MoMo-E. Recently, I added ShopeePay again, but this issue happened before that change.

I hope Apple can review this case carefully and help me get a refund, since the charge did not happen intentionally.

Thank you very much for your understanding and assistance.

Review the information on your duplicate post. You previously said there that" I tried to start a 7-day free trial for the [Praktika] app, after I had previously canceled my subscription.".

In either case the solution there is the same. If the refund is denied you usually get 1 time to appeal before the final decision is made.

Also, refrain from posting duplicates and if you have additional information to provide, add it to that same post. You are likely to find that one or the other may be removed as a duplicate and you will no longer have the information that was provided on the removed post.
