Just re-established my library. Where are the songs in file format?

If you have your library set to self organize, iTunes usually keeps a folder called iTunes Media with all the music files in it. Music\iTunes\iTunes Media

You can right click on a track in iTunes and then on Show in Windows Explorer to have it open the folder where it expects the file to be.

If you don't have the "Organize Library" option turned on, then only you can know where the media files are stored. But again you can right click the file and then "Open in Windows Explore" to open the location it thinks the file is in.
