New Address Update on Maps Taking Too Long

We have a new address which is registered with Royal Mail and on the PAF (Postcode Address File) and I have tried to add this as a place on Maps but the report just remains in review, even after 6 weeks.

It's a concern, as we are in a rural location and recently one of us suffered an injury which if an ambulance tried to find us (NHS use Maps for locations) it would have struggled. I have even uploaded a photo to show this is a real place. How can we get Maps updated please?

The address I need to add is: Munro House, Arrochar, G83 7AJ

Location is:

56°12'31.5"N 4°44'29.6"W

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 18

Apple periodically pulls updates from a variety of commercial sources (local authorities, post offices, etc.). There is no published data as to how long it takes public updates to populate to Maps, other than it is not (as you've found) instantaneous.

I would be astounded, though, if emergency services relied on Apple Maps for their navigation. Apple (as far as I'm aware) has never qualified Maps for emergency service use (there are certifications and controls that need to be in place to qualify them for such use). The Ambulance Service is far more likely to rely on the Royal Mail PAF database, or some other commercial entity.
