Is there a way I can link contacts so that certain elements are shared? For example, say a family lives together. I can group family members in a list, but if I want to store their addresses I have to enter and maintain them individually. This would be much simpler if this data could be shared.
If this cannot be done at present, could be added as a future enhancement?

I don't think it's possible, but you can suggest it. Consider, however, that Contacts supports third party address book providers, like Exchange and Google Contacts, which would not understand the feature unless they too were updated.
