How might one make the calculator bigger? Should be the easiest thing ever in 2025.
I opened up the calculator by clicking on the little icon in the dock that looks like a handheld calculator from the 1980s.
It is called "Calculator" Version 11.0 (224).
It looks very small on the screen of my brand-new 2025 MacBook Air. This is probably because designers are typically young, and might not realize that many human eyes after 40 years begin to deteriorate in various ways.
But it's 2025, so I simply tried to grab a corner or do any of the other many things people do to change the size of things on computer screens some 48 years after the introduction of the TRS-80.
It didn't work. Am I missing something?
I just went to Google Search, made by perhaps a more competent monopoly, to quickly calculate what I needed to calculate in a size I could see, but it still irks me. What am I missing? My 8-year-old can make me a calculator online using Python that I can easily use and read, but I just want my expensive new laptop to do it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
