Unable to Change My User ID in Apple Community

The change policy had to be toughened years ago because a handful of malcontents were using it for "Shape-shifting" that caused turmoil in the forums. Once again, a small number of people who cannot control themselves online cost us a freedom.

Hello Apple Community Experts

I’m trying to change my user ID for the Apple Community, but I can’t find any option to do so in my profile settings. I’ve checked under “Account Settings” and “Edit Profile,” but there doesn’t seem to be a way to update or modify the user ID.

Could someone please confirm if it’s possible to change the user ID, or if I need to contact Apple Support for assistance?
